Designer background: in 1998, I {Cheryl Edenfield} started to do freelance graphic design and took the first four letters of my first and last name, to set up my first home business. Shortly thereafter, I was hired as an art director for a small advertising agency, the Litchfield Partnership, Ltd. Since the company was small – two owners, a part-time accountant, and myself, I got to wear many hats and learned a lot about how the business operates. Through the years, I continued to use the moniker for the freelance jobs I did on the side — mostly logos, t-shirts, brochures and programs. The work has since evolved into designing made-to-order cards/invitations. I also started a publishing company, Oglethorpe Publishing, LLC, with my husband in 2008. In 2011, we changed the company name to Oglethorpe Media and made chereden creative a division of it.
